Angela Sun

Angela Sun (born October 19 1979 in the Santa Clara county in California) is an American journalist, television presenter and sportscaster. Angela Sun is a multi-award winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. She has a bachelor's Degree in Communication and Sociology from the University of California. Sun has a great surfing ability. After taking part in several pro-am surfing events, she was sponsored by Roxy Reef Billabong Vans and many other large brands. It was the fame that she earned from the events she took part in that led her into the realm of entertainment. She, later on went to become an actress, sportscaster as well as a film director. Sun was mainly anchor for several channels. In 2003, she became reporter for Fox Sports Net reporter. She hosted American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute from the year 2014 until 2015. She is the first Asian-American person to be a part of ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports and Tennis Channel. Sun has worked in numerous films, and her talents as an actress have been praised and lauded. She was a part of films including Goliath (2016) and Hit the Floor(2014-2016) A Perfect Getaway(2009) Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008), and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun was the one who penned and produced her documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch about marine plastic pollution and the environmental effects in 2014, released the feature length film.
