Biles along with her younger sister Adria, who were adopted from Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region), grew up there. Simone first became interested in gymnastics when she was only six years old. The coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them to an outing. Biles has won gold and bronze medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault before making her debut in 2011 in the elite category of competition. Less than two years later she was the most dominant athlete in the field. Her consistency, her vivacious personality and the level of challenge for her four eventsvault uneven bars, balance beam floor workout and floor exercise -- made her apart.
